Game Description :
Captain Olimar has 30 pieces of his spaceship missing, and in 30 days, his life support will expire! He crashes into an unknown world and dies from its hostile atmosphere. Luckily, an earth native plant/insect species known as the Pikmin ROM is there to help him. Olimar will have to collect and guide the Pikmin to retrieve the remaining parts of his ship while fighting the plant and animal inhabitants of the planet, which are sometimes friendly, sometimes not.
Pikmin are classified into three different types, and each has a unique ability. Red Pikmin are also fireproof, blue Pikmin can swim,m and yellow Pikmin can be thrown great distances. Apart from the story mode, after finding all of the Pikmin types in the story mode, a Challenge Mode is unlocked. In this mode, the objective is to raise as many Pikmin as possible in one day.
